How many do I need?
Fitness takes time as the body needs to adapt and learn. For that reason, I recommend a block booking of 8, 10 or 12 sessions. See full details below.
Working one on one on your personal goals starting with a full consultation and body assessment I work with you to develop a programme that suits your abilities, goals and lifestyle. Building on the core elements you will develop stability, movements skills, strength and agility. I will guide you from the ground up developing good exercise form and teaching you an effective, safe way to exercise. All this happens in my private studio in Twyford, Berkshire.

I have been working with Gillian to improve my flexibility, mobility and strength for the last 18 months. I wanted to improve my general fitness with particular focus on helping me to improve my golf. My 1:1 sessions with Gillian are always very enjoyable. She plans each session in detail and varies them from week to week, which keeps sessions interesting. Gillian is very knowledgeable about body physiology and identifies areas to work on, such as balance and hip mobility. Gillian's well equipped studio is a very pleasant environment to exercise in. I would recommend Gillian without any reservation.
With the Two of You I offer two people the same style as one to one just divided by two. You will both have an full consultation and body assessment and I will create a programme for you both which can be modified and adjusted to suit both your needs and abilities during our sessions. The benefit of training with someone else is the added support and motivation you get from each other.

After two years working from home during lockdown hunched over our laptops training as a couple with Gillian was the perfect antidote. Working with Gillian over a period of 10 weeks my husband and I greatly improved our mobility, re-engaged with our core and increased our strength. Taking into consideration our individual capabilities Gillian designed a programme for us that encouraged us to dig that little bit deeper each week and achieve a new goal. All sessions took place at Gillian’s purpose built garden studio and as well as improving our wellbeing gave us an opportunity for some relaxing “us” time away from the usual family and work routine. We enjoyed it so much we’ve signed up for more!

Pilates group sessions with Gillian was my first foray into the world of pilates. Now, after 10 sessions I can confidently say I am stronger, more flexible and also more body posture aware. The sessions have been progressive, starting with how to engage my long forgotten core to now following sequences of exercises increasing stamina and strength. Classes have been held in Gillian's lovely purpose built studio and are both informal and informative.
