As a lover of all things health and fitness for over 30 years I have enjoyed the great highs of being at my peak fitness and feeling like I can conquer the world and managed the lows of injury and back pain. Being at both end of the fitness spectrum has given me a real understanding of what our bodies can do and how we need to look after them, how to train and maintain them to be stronger, fitter and stay healthy for life.
Being a Personal Trainer allows me to enable my passion to help others to understand their bodies how to train correctly to achieve and maintain their goals. I have trained and continue to train across a number of disciplines which support my passion which is to help people develop a strong stable body with optimal functional movement. Once we have stability and can move well we can build balanced strength. Our strength will give us the power to do more to become fitter and healthier for life. Moving well and being strong is not a luxury it’s a necessity.
Today I maintain my fitness with activities and exercise that work for my body. Yoga, Pilates and functional movement training to maintain mobility, flexibly and core strength, resistance training to maintain muscular strength and I walk many miles to keep my heart and mind happy and healthy.
As this is my passion I never want to stop learning. There is always something new to pop in the tool box.
